My story
David began pursuing songwriting after retiring from 30 years as a Park Ranger ..From the suburban life by Old Hickory Lake in Hendersonville, Tn. to farming with his depression era grandparents near Lynchburg, Tn. he is noted as a classic country storyteller and has been compared to Guy Clark.
His music is as varied as his raising.
He plays songwriter events across the south.

I still have my mother’s instruments, a Kalamazoo resonator guitar with a dobro nut, purchased by her daddy in 1935 from a pawnshop in Nashville, and a Kalamazoo lap steel with a 14” Kalamazoo tube amp.. She took lessons from lefty Frazell .. Hawaiian music was a fad back then..
